“The narrator was freaking awesome. . . . Not only was the narration clear and audible, but she did the voices! Gotta do the voices. She did accents and she did kid voices and she did adult voices and she even did animal voices. Yes, animals! She rocked this book all over the universe and I seriously look forward to listening to the other books now just to hear her do what she does again. . . . The plot was fun and imaginative. . . . I really liked how Guignard made the plot move, as in, he never stayed in one place. The characters were always going on adventures and racing to save the day, and that made the book really enjoyable.” Read more at DJ’s Book Corner
“I loved Zoe and Zak as characters because they embodied everything we wished we were as kids. They were living out the fantasy and the adventure I could only have dreamed about when I was their age. That’s not to say that both Zoe and Zak don’t deal with some issues all of us can relate to, such as bullying, embarrassment, and the joys of success. . . . Overall I HIGHLY recommend this book! Not just for your child but for yourself as well! It doesn’t matter what age you are, we can all take something away from Zoe and Zak. I know it left me wanting to be more brave and adventurous! It also teaches us the meaning and value of friendship and that is something we all need to remember. So buy yourself a copy, sit outside, and prepare yourself for a magnificent, magical adventure!” Read more at The Cozy Corner
“It really is a series that anyone can enjoy. It would be a great series for the whole family to listen to while traveling on vacation or lounging around during the summer. The narrator, Sonja Field, is fantastic! She has given Zak, Zoe, and all the other characters of this fantastic series distinct personalities and brings the amazing setting that Lars Guignard has created to life. If this book was a movie I would imagine it to be like Jumanji with the level of adventure and story telling that is delivered.” Read more at Gin’s Book Notes
“My older daughter and I both love Zoe & Zak’s adventurous spirits. We know when picking up a Zoe & Zak story that we’re going on a grand adventure and we’re going to enjoy every minute of it. Zoe & Zak and the Tiger Temple by Lars Guignard has been our favorite story so far.” Read more at Brooke Blogs
“[Zoe & Zak and] The Tiger Temple is the third installment in the Zoe & Zak Adventures series and is an exceptional MG adventure novel! With great character development, detailed Indian culture and amazing visual graphics, it is one of my favorite Middle Grade series that I’ve read. … Audiobook Notes: Sonja Field has done it again! She is so perfect with the characters and the flow of the novel, I tend to forget that it’s only one person who’s narrating and not a whole lot of people doing different voices.” Read more at Spiced Latte Reads
“Zoe & Zak and the Tiger Temple is the third book in this series and it seems to only get better. … This is a middle grade book but I am 25 and the Zoe & Zak series are my favorite adventure books I have read/listened to in years. … I give this book 5 stars, if I could give this book more than I would!” Read more at Alwaysjoart
“Holy India is right! This is a great Middle Grade magical fantasy series, one I really enjoy on audio. … I absolutely recommend this series. I have not read the books, but I think I would miss the voices and the descriptions if I didn’t listen to the audiobooks. There are some books that just should be listened to as an audio book. I believe this series is one of them.” Read more at Buried in Books
